【摘要】:ThispartofISO10333specifiesrequirements,testmethods,instructionsforuseandmaintenance,marking,labellingandpackaging,asappropriate,forconnectorswithself-closingandself-lockinggatesmadefrommetallicmaterials.Connectorsareusedinpersonalfall-arrestsystems(PFAS),whichwillbespecifiedinafutureInternationalStandard(seeISO10333-6intheBibliography),suchthat,ifanarresttakesplace,thearrestingforcewillnotexceed6kN.ThispartofISO10333isapplicableonlytoconnectorslimitedtosinglepersonuseofatotalmassnotexceeding100kg.NOTEUsersoffallprotectionequipmentwhosetotalmass(includingtoolsandequipment)exceeds100kgareadvisedtoseekadvicefromtheequipmentmanufacturerregardingthesuitabilityofthisequipment,whichmayneedadditionaltesting.ThescopeofthispartofISO10333doesnotextendto:a)attachmentelements,fasteningbuckles,adjustingbucklesandothermetallicfittingsusedinthemanufactureoffull-bodyharnesses,whicharespecifiedinISO10333-6;b)connectorsusedformaterial-liftingpurposes;c)connectorsusedinspecialtechniquesorsituations,e.g.rescue,orropeaccess.ThispartofISO10333doesnotspecifythoseadditionalrequirementsthatwouldapplywhenconnectorsaresubjectedtospecialconditionsofuse(where,forexample,thereexistunusuallimitationsconcerningaccesstotheplaceofworkand/orparticularenvironmentalfactors).Thus,treatmentstoensurethedurabilityofthematerialsofconstruction(suchasheattreatment,anti-corrosiontreatment,protectionagainstphysicalandchemicalhazards)arenotspecifiedinthispartofISO10333,butshouldcomplywithappropriateInternationalStandardsor,failingthat,withnationalstandardsandotherspecificationsdealingwithrelevantphysicalcharacteristicsand/orthesafetyofusers.Inparticular,whenitisconsiderednecessarytotestthecorrosionresistanceofmetallicpartsoftheequipment,referenceshouldbemadetoISO9227.
