【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodfortheanalyticalevaluationandinterpretationofthethermalstressexperiencedbyasubjectinahotenvironment.Itdescribesamethodforpredictingthesweatrateandtheinternalcoretemperaturethatthehumanbodywilldevelopinresponsetotheworkingconditions.Thevarioustermsusedinthispredictionmodel,andinparticularintheheatbalance,showtheinfluenceofthedifferentphysicalparametersoftheenvironmentonthethermalstressexperiencedbythesubject.Inthisway,thisInternationalStandardmakesitpossibletodeterminewhichparameterorgroupofparametersshouldbemodified,andtowhatextent,inordertoreducetheriskofphysiologicalstrains.ThemainobjectivesofthisInternationalStandardarethefollowing:a)theevaluationofthethermalstressinconditionslikelytoleadtoexcessivecoretemperatureincreaseorwaterlossforthestandardsubject;b)thedeterminationofexposuretimeswithwhichthephysiologicalstrainisacceptable(nophysicaldamageistobeexpected).Inthecontextofthispredictionmode,theseexposuretimesarecalled"maximumallowableexposuretimes".ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotpredictthephysiologicalresponseofindividualsubjects,butonlyconsidersstandardsubjectsingoodhealthandfitfortheworktheyperform.Itisthereforeintendedtobeusedbyergonomists,industrialhygienists,etc.,toevaluateworkingconditions.
