【摘要】:ThisTechnicalReportprovidesguidanceforthedeployment,useandmanagementofmobilewirelesscommunicationandcomputingequipmentinhealthcarefacilitiesinawaythatpromoteseffectiveelectromagneticcompatibility(EMC)amongthewirelesstechnologyandactivemedicaldevicesthroughmitigationofpotentialhazardsduetoelectromagneticinterference(EMI).Therecommendationsgivenrecognizethedifferentresources,needs,concernsandenvironmentsofhealthcareorganizationsaroundtheworld,andprovidedetailedmanagementguidelinesforhealthcareorganizationsthatdesirefulldeploymentofmobilewirelesscommunicationandcomputingtechnologythroughouttheirfacilities.Inaddition,suggestionsareincludedforselectiverestrictionsincaseswherehealthcareorganizationshavedecidedthatcomprehensivemanagementproceduresarenotfeasible,practicalordesirableatthepresenttime.Therecommendationshereindistinguishbetweenwirelesstechnologycontrolledbythefacilityandusedbydoctorsandstaffforhealthcare-specificcommunicationandhealthinformaticstransportversusnon-controlled(personal)mobilewirelessequipmentrandomlybroughtintothefacilitybyvisitors,patientsorthehealthcareorganizationworkforce.
